Often, I'm asked where to start learning when learning about the Charlotte Mason method. I highly recommend beginning with Mason's own writings, either Volume I (Home Education) or Volume VI (Philosophy of Education). Note that Mason's volumes do not need to be read in sequence.

Additionally, numerous other excellent books and resources are available to support your understanding of this philosophy. My top recommendations are For the Children's Sake by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay and In Vital Harmony by Karen Glass.
